Meet Coco Ferrari
A lifelong entrepreneur, photographer, athlete, and product creator building solutions from lived experience.
How It All Began
I’ve always believed the best ideas come from lived experience.
For more than three decades, I’ve built businesses, led projects, and solved complex problems across a wide range of industries. My career has taken me through roles as an entrepreneur, project manager, IT specialist, database administrator, professional photographer, and business owner. Every experience taught me something different, but they all reinforced the same belief: the best solutions begin with understanding people, asking the right questions, and never being afraid to challenge conventional thinking.
My journey has taken me far beyond the office. I had the opportunity to manage the operations of private yachts and sailing vessels throughout the Mediterranean and Ionian Seas, where preparation, leadership, adaptability, and attention to detail weren’t optional, they were essential. Working in constantly changing environments taught me to stay calm under pressure, anticipate problems before they occurred, and make confident decisions when they mattered most.
Photography became another lifelong passion. Behind the camera, I learned to notice details others often overlooked and to tell meaningful stories through a single image. That same curiosity, creativity, and attention to detail continue to influence every product I create today.
I’ve also been a lifelong competitor. Throughout my life I competed in a variety of sports, but like many athletes, there comes a point when age changes what’s possible. Eventually I found pickleball, and it reignited my competitive spirit in ways I never expected.
What began as a recreational sport quickly became a passion. I immersed myself in learning the game, competed in tournaments, earned medals, and became an IPTPA Certified Pickleball Instructor. Like many athletes, I was constantly looking for ways to improve my performance, recover more effectively, and better understand what my body was telling me.
Then everything changed.
What started as a simple walk to my car from the courts became the moment that changed not only my recovery, but the direction of my life.
After playing pickleball for five consecutive days, I made one small decision that would alter the course of my life. Taking what I thought was a harmless shortcut, I stepped on a low concrete pillar, lost my footing, and suffered a devastating fall. I fractured my wrist in multiple places, broke several ribs, and faced months of recovery.
Physically, it was one of the most difficult periods of my life.
Mentally, it raised even bigger questions.
Was my body truly recovering? Had I pushed myself too hard? Was my elevated heart rate normal? When would it be safe to return to the court?
My Apple Watch and Apple Health collected an incredible amount of information. Heart rate, sleep, workouts, calories, recovery… the data was everywhere.
What was missing were the answers.
The technology could tell me what had happened.
It couldn’t tell me what I should do next.
I wasn’t looking for more data.
I was looking for confidence.
Confidence that I was recovering properly.
Confidence that I was ready to return to the court.
Confidence that I wasn’t pushing my body beyond what it was prepared to handle.
When I couldn’t find a solution, I decided to build one.
That became Coco’s Court, an intelligent coaching platform that transforms Apple Watch and Apple Health data into practical insights that help pickleball players understand recovery, training load, heart rate, fueling, and performance. Rather than overwhelming athletes with numbers, Coco’s Court answers one simple question:
What should I do next?
As I spent more time talking with players, another challenge became obvious.
Choosing the right pickleball paddle had become increasingly confusing. Hundreds of paddles, endless marketing claims, and very little guidance tailored to the individual player.
That inspired PaddleMatch, a recommendation platform that helps players identify the paddles that best fit their playing style, goals, and preferences, removing much of the guesswork from one of the most important equipment decisions in the sport.
Looking back, I realized I wasn’t starting a new career by building software. I was bringing together everything I’d learned over more than three decades in technology, business, project management, data, photography, entrepreneurship, and sport to create products that help people make more confident decisions.
Today, those products are developed through CFB Ventures Incorporated, a company built on one guiding principle:
The best ideas come from lived experience.
Every product begins with a real challenge I’ve experienced personally. Every feature is designed to solve a practical problem. Every decision is guided by one simple question:
Will this genuinely help someone?
This is only the beginning.
As CFB Ventures continues to grow, my mission remains the same: to create practical products, tools, and educational resources that help people make more confident decisions, perform at their best, and enjoy the activities they love.
